Life is packed with disappointing moments, days and things. I had one of those days today...
But of all things most disappointing, I must put at the top of the list...people! Think about it, look at the moments/ things/ days that totally disappointed you in the last one week...You'll find that most of them were because of people who let you down, did something they weren't supposed to do, made you cry...
But if you look further, you'll realize that the people who feature most on that list are the people closest to you - your friends, your family. I think maybe it's because we expect so much of the people in our lives that when they fail to come through, the cut is deeper.
But my thoughts today are a bit swerved in this direction: because people have disappointed us before, is that a reason to lose faith in the human race? Because friends have proved unreliable in the past, does that mean we are never to take on new friends, so we can stay unhurt? Because we fear for our brittle hearts, are we to turn down and turn away from anyone who tries to come near us? If we never give people the chance to prove themselves, do we not risk losing an opportunity to share in some special person's life?
Perhaps I am getting soft in my old age, but this wall has come up in my face recently, and I thought I'd ramble :)...and be gone for now.

NOW....GEE.. I ALMOST AGREE WITH WHAT YOU BE SAYING, BUT IF U LOOK AT IT FROM THE JAMAA WHO IS BEING THE DISSAPOINTMENT POINT, ITS DIFFERENT.
ALLOW ME TO BREAK THIS DOWN JUST A BIT AND BE REAL!!!!!!!!!!
I HURT A VERY CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE THE OTHER DAY AND I KNEW I HAD DISSAPOINTED HIM VI-SERIOUSLY. IT WAS A DIFFICULT MOMENT FOR BOTH OF US AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE ACTUALLY DOESNT KNOW WHETHER HE CAN FORGIVE ME.THAT BROKE MY HEART....AND MY HEART BLED FOR REAL.....
NOW GEE,PROBABLY THATS THE PLACE YOU ARE AT ALSO....[DIFFERENT INTENSITY BUT SAME PLACE]. WELL,...THIS IS THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE PERSON WHO IS THE DISSAPIONTMENT, ....ITS SAD WHEN YOU HURT SOMEONE ,BUT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, I BELIEVE IT HAPPENS WHEN A FRIEND HAS THE OTHER'S BEST INTEREST AT HEART.LIKE WHERE, YOU GIVE THEM FISH BUT THEY SEE A SNAKE OR SCORPION INSTEAD, YOUMEAN GOOD BUT THEY JUST DONT SEE IT THAT WAY....I DIDNT MEAN TO HURT MY PAL, I THOUGHT I WAS BEING A FREIND BUT IT DIDNT RUB OFF THE RIGHT WAY. MISTAKES HAPPEN,HEARTBREAKS, ESPECIALLY FROM THOSE CLOSEST AND I THINK ITS A BEAUTIFUL THING BECAUSE YOU LEARN AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS STRENGTHENED ONCE THE DEEP DARK UGLY VALLEY OF ANGER AND DISSAPOINTMENT PASSES.
SO INSTEAD OF GIVING UP ON THE HUMAN RACE AND QUITING ON THOSE WHO SEEM TO DISSAPOINT... APPRECIATE THEM,LOVE ON THEM AND ASK GOD TO HELP YOU FORGIVE THEM AND LOVE THEM AGAIN.BECAUSE WHEN YOU DISSAPIONT OR HURT ANOTHER, YOU WOULD WANT TO BE FORGIVEN AND UNDERSTOOD, RIGHT???????
NWHO, HAVNT CHECKED OUT THIS PLACE OF POWER IN A WHILE, BUT AM GLAD TO BE BACK AND TO SEE THAT AM NOT THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH DISSAPIONTMENT WITH PALS,THAT WAS TIMELY.... WITH GOD WE WILL OVERCOME. WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS....HE WILL TURN THE PILES OF ASHES INTO PILES OF GOLD SO JUST HANG IN THERE!!!!!!!!!

its lucky i guess that i opened this today...i was going to 'divorce' one of my friends coz honestly i'm just very tired of forgiving....very!!and its true it does feel like we should give up on the human race but what gives us the right??i know a man who forgives us EVERY time we break his heart...guess thats reason enuff for me to kip trying:)
